The photography competition i entered a few weeks ago was for the Clothes Show Live's 'Young Fashion Photographer Of The Year 2011'. I have always loved fashion photography, but in recent times I've probably focused a little more on the day-to-day diary stuff, which i also love doing. When I heard about the competition I thought it might be a nice opportunity to experiment with fashion photography a little more, so I organised a shoot (a post or two ago) with my friend, and sent off the picture above as my final submission. AND GUESS WHAT. An hour or two ago i received a call from a nice lady at the clothes show saying that I'D BEEN SHORTLISTED AS ONE OF TEN FINALISTS. They're sending me two tickets to the awards, and I, along with my pal emma (the model), shall be going to Birmingham on the 6th of December to see who the winner is (and I'm so happy i got this far, anything more would just be a bonus)!!!

Today I had a photoshoot with the lovely Emma. It's for a competition, and my inspiration was Cecil Beaton. I ordered a load of polythene dust sheeting for super cheap from ebay and it came just in time to make the backdrop! Was without a doubt one of the funniest shoots I've ever done! HEY YA'LL. Exams are over and long gone! The summer is here and i am soooooo happy!

So much to do this summer, you wouldn't believe. I'm re-doing my room and building a mini darkroom in a cupboard under the stairs. AND i now have my lovely new canon ae-1, so documenting this summer is gonna be a blast! I've been mostly playing around with double exposures, which are so much fun to do. YOU SHOULD GIVE IT A TRY.

Yesterday was my last day of compulsory education ever! This doesn't mean very much, however, as i still have a shedload of gcse exams coming up over the next few weeks, sadly, and another two years of sixth-form to look forward to, as well as (hopefully) art at university...

TALKING OF ART. About a month ago i sat my final GCSE art practical exam. Ten hours of slavin away with nothing but haribo and my ipod for company. I decided to base my piece on the work of Gustav Klimt, (but a much simpler and crappier version, obviously) using oil pastels. Before the exam, i created a collage of images on photoshop, all jumbled up, to serve as the basic arrangement (the guy is based on a picture of James Franco hehehehe). I haven't used oil pastels before on a scale like this, so it was a challenge for me! I'm not sure about the colours i chose, and i hate how his nose and her hand went wrong. BUT i did get to use these amazing gold Sennelier oil pastels, which felt like working with lipstick (really really good!)

Hey y'all! Haven't posted in an absolute age, and i gotta be quick now. I've been so busy with my GCSEs, and even now I'm supposed to be revising for my Additional Chemistry exam tomorrow... whoops... I'm writing now because i need you guys to see this!

Many of you brits have seen the new KFC advert, right? The cute one with the kids running around and everyone having a good time. EVERYONE has been looking for the amazing song that's playing in it. LOADS OF PEOPLE. Some thought it was Adele singing, and a few people cheekily posted the song on Youtube saying it was Paloma Faith's new single. BUT THEY WERE WRONG! The song is by a new band called Templecloud, who are from my local town, Bath.

AND IT GETS BETTER- My friend Lucy's sister, Hannah Leah Symons, is THE SINGER!

It's a beautiful song, not my usual thing i admit, but it really is. And it's been officially released today! Radio 1 (UK) has been going a bit mental about it, with top DJ Scott Mills making it his new 'record of the week'. It's only been about for less than a day, and it's already steadily climbing the Itunes and UK charts.

SO PLEASE give it a listen (the link is below), maybe download and spread the word. How cool would it be if it reached number one? It certainly deserves to!

Heeeeeeey there my fine friends. The last few weeks have been so bloody hectic, i swear. For once, i am actually doing some work for school! We've also been having lots of exams and coursework deadlines, which have rendered me incapable of having a social life, weekends and sleep. Our mock GCSE art exam was particularly tough; 10 hours over two full days stuck in a classroom with nothing but pencils and a vague idea of what the hell you are doing... But gladly i finished in the allocated time... just. Our topic this year has been 'man made', and this is my final piece, done in the exam, all in pencil. It's pretty darn big in reality. I smudged the buildings, unfortunately! I was inspired by the work of photographer Dan Mountford, and i wanted to create something a little conceptual, so i got my poor friend Josie to sit on our roof for a photo. I then sourced a few photos of cities and buildings, the main one being of manhattan (I'm sorry, i can't find the original sources/ photographers to link yas to), and stitched it all together in photoshop to copy up big on the exam days. MY WHOLE BODY WAS SHAKING AT THE END, i swear. It was so bloody hard. Noooot looking forward to our real exams at the end of this year aaaargh.

I've been so busy lately, I'd completely forgotten about blogging! Most of my attention, instead of going to school work, has been on photography. Here are a selection of photographs from the past few months.

This is a photo taken last year, in the French Alpes. I only just found it, and decided i liked it.

This one was taken on 35mm film. After a party, I stayed at my friends house, along with two guys that didn't have anywhere else to go. I woke up earlier than anyone else and took a few sneaky photographs of their shoes.

Hi. Haven't been here in a while. I am not worthy to call myself a blogger. How have you all been? How has the summer been treating ya? I have been busy busy busy... All those end of year exams and stuff. Next year is my last year of compulsory education!!! But, absolutely certainly, not my last year of education. Grr.

A lot of things have been going on. A lot of new things have been running through my mind. I have decided to devote part of the holidays to inventing a new me. I want to go back to school next year and feel... different. I have never ever been remotely rebellious teenagery wise, and i think it's fair to say i'm fairly plain and boring. I haven't got any piercings (at all) or tattoos, and i have never dyed my hair, partly due to my parents not wanting me to (not a very good teenagery excuse for not having done something), and partly because part of me still thinks i am about twelve. So this summer I have come to the conclusion that something has to happen in the looks department. Hair-wise I want to do something a little alternative. I was looking around for ideas and, voila, look what i found...

My hair colour is sort of somewhere between the hair colour in the first and third photographs, so i'm guessing blue green looks pretty good, as does pinky red. I'm not sure my parents would approve, or my school, for that matter, but what is your favourite? THEY ARE ALL SO FABBY.

Shoot with emma today, and i made some pretty crazy glasses.

How to make the glasses

1. Find yourself a pair of 3D glasses from the cinema, you know, the wayfarer style ones

2. Pop the lenses out and trace round the frame of the glasses on cardboard until you have a of the outline. cut it out, leaving the eyeholes in.

3. with a pen, put lots of little holes in the cardboard cutout, then push flowers of your choice through them.

4. Stick with sellotape to the 3D pair, making sure all the stems of the flowers are stuck securely with sellotape to the back.

They will wilt quite quickly, but they are fun while they last :)

i've been so busy lately- hell i haven't even had time to even write in my journal. School is killing me. French and art in particular. I'm doing my final 2D piece in art at the moment- a massive painting of a little boy sleeping on a deer (i have no idea how i came up with it, it's bloody surreal) and it's taking forever. Somehow everything is speeding up, and I'm a little bit lost and confused. I need something new to listen to and something new to read- any suggestions?

I'm sorry i haven't written anything in a while, but life is kind of biting me at the moment, if that makes sense. It really is the only way to describe it.

I've always had this thing. This thing was a dream, and a very big dream, at that. The thing that was a dream was to be a fashion designer, of all the things i could be. It sounds a bit silly, but it felt so right. I've had that dream since i was really little. I liked the way people could just wear your art. It seemed like such an amazing thing, really. I was given my very first sewing machine for my eighth birthday. It was gorgeous and shiny and scary. I made all sorts, i made dolls clothes and bags and everything else you could make when you lived in a fairly small world. I drew a lot, too, far more than most kids, infact. Infact, all i would really do was draw and make things. I painted, a lot, too. I have always been scared of patterns. They look so fragile and i was always scared something would go wrong. I tried and tried to make myself learn, but i never tried hard enough, and now i'm left having this crazy urge to design design design but i am too terrified to learn properly. And it makes me feel like it's too late to learn because i see all these kids who can do all that so well, and i think that i could probably do it well too, but i'm still a bit scared of patterns. And then there is the industry. The industry is big, really big, and i'm not. My mind isn't and my body isn't and my ideas certainly aren't as big as the industry. The industry is mean, too. If i were to work in it would probably be eaten alive. I'm not bitchy or confrontational, infact, stuff like that makes me feel sick. I don't want to be part of something that doesn't value being genuine. Then i looked around, and i've found that pretty much every creative industry is fueled by fighting against others, and i don't think i could honestly live like that, it would be so unhealthy. I've always been a fighter. I've always fought when someone tries to teach me something, I fight normalness, i fight my parent's expectations, i fight sleep, i fight hunger, i fight myself. And i'm telling myself that it is good to let yourself be yourself, because that makes you genuine, but in all honesty, i'm genuinely tired of fighting, and i really don't want to fight any longer, and to enter into something that is about fighting to be 'at the top' seems to very daunting and i'm scared. I should really be saying "i'm going to change the face of fashion", but really, that means more fighting, even if the face i'm trying to change fashion to is to be genuine. I don't feel creative, i feel destructive. Sometimes i think- "my life is going to be destructive. I'm going to have to hurt people." And then i think- "why is it always 'i'?" There shouldn't just be an i. 'I' is selfish. 'I' is singular. 'I' is what separates people.

So i'm left with this feeling that whatever i do there will always be something that makes it feel bad. I still have that dream but it is so much bigger and scarier than i could ever really comprehend. The weird thing is, that even though it's going to be so much tougher, i really really want to make it. No, i think i need to. Not only to prove to myself that i can, but also to almost conquer the things that i've always been scared of. And if that means i have to fight, bring it on. If that means that happiness is further away that i thought, so be it. But it also means that i'm more determined than ever to give it my best shot to get there.

Sorry, i just really had to make sense of everything.

I think it's stopped biting, for a while.

I've noticed something very strange. In the snow my hair goes a little bit red and my eyes go all funny-coloured...

Hello all! :) It's been just a little bit magical in wiltshire today. It's SNOWED. It doesn't usually happen, since we're so far south, but it did today. No school and no cars. The whole town stopped in it's tracks. I made the most of this opportunity to sit indoors and eat toast, but finally my curiosity sort of gave in and i went outside. I now have cold toes but my world and my dreams are officially covered in white

I took these photographs with an old manual lens from my film nikon. I know that they're a little bit out of focus, but i kinda like that in a way. These last few days have been pretty good. I feel like I'm constantly learning things, which i didn't feel before. Something else has happened too. I feel just a little bit better in myself, like I'm finally starting to see the way, and find my wings, and maybe over the next year i will be able to fly, or something like that. It's a strange feeling, it's like growing up, only you also kind of grow out, as if your world has finally decided to expand, and the boundaries of childhood are finally becoming wider and wider, or just disappear altogether. That is the change. Maybe some of you have felt it too, because it's the most wonderful thing. This year has been full of inspiration, especially from everyone here. I only started my blog early last year, and already I've found invaluable friends and fellow bloggers who just inspire me to keep on going.

So thanks to-

Roz - you truly have an amazing style. I loved swapping ideas with you over the last year, and you really helped in the beginning, hope this year is filled with many many more of your fabulous drawings, outfits and pictures (oh and maybe something to do with coffee) :)

Eve Rei - Although you're really new to this, I find myself reading your blog literally every day. You have such a lovely writing style, and I love hearing about each little adventure you have. I truly hope you manage to buy those awesome red boots!

Anna - You are such a fantastic person, your photographs continue to blow me away. You really inspired me to open my eyes to what was around me, and I think i should really dedicate almost every photo I've taken since the summer to you.

I'm having a lovely holiday, how are you all coping with the festive season? It's been all baking (something i do very rarely, and badly), decorating the house and garden, and lounging around in my new staple clothing item: Soulcal sweatpants. We're off skiing in a few days, I literally can't wait! My dad has given me his old nikon film camera, so i've added it to my ever-growing collection. Life is sweet. I'm going to hopefully receive a massive scrapbook/diary for Christmas, to keep my days, thoughts and ideas in check, so that i can refine what i put on here, and my dad has already bought me a pro account on Flickr as an early Crimbo pressie :) What are you all hoping for? I've literally spent ALL my savings on presents (not that i had that much saved up in the first place) so I'm basically skint, BUT THAT WILL CHANGE next year! I'm trying to convince my parents to let me get a Saturday job, and all the money from that would go into savings for lenses/future camera updates/film etc. I just want to know... how many of you guys (that are still in school) have jobs? My parents seem to think that it's highly abnormal...

Sian and I FINALLY made a rainbow cake. It kinda looks like it's made out of playdough, though! Personally, I wouldn't eat it, it looks untrustworthy. Next time I think we'll go easier on the food colouring! Kinda based the recipe on THIS, although hers looks absolutely scrummy, and ours (for obvious reasons) doesn't, although the icing is DELICIOUS.

I think I'm gonna do a lookbook tomorrow, haven't in aaaages.

Wild thing, i think i love you

Yesterday I went to see Where the wild things are, and I was blown away. I've been looking forward to seeing i first heard it was being made into a movie. The thing is, you really didn't know what to expect, the book was so short, but i think that the movie captured everything the original story did. What surprised me was how deep the film was. I was hoping and praying that they hadn't disney-fied it for little children, because i would have honestly just walked out there and then, but the adaptation was far from it. The way they had done it was mesmerizing. The characters, although being ten-foot balls of matted fur, were absolutely believable. In my opinion, they were all basically different aspects of Max, the main characters' life and personality, each symbolizing something in his life, such as abandonment, sadness, fear, joy and destructiveness. It made me think, laugh, and sometimes cry (just a bit). It really captured the essence of childhood; the longing to belong, the playfulness, the genuine emotions. The only thing that could really appeal to younger kids are the amazing graphics. The soundtrack was awesome, so much so that I've added quite a few of the songs to the playlist (just to the left). I'm not quite sure what I was expecting from this film, but whatever it was, this was a thousand times better.

It has been a preeeetty snazzy week folks. although school-wise it's been a total dud, everything else has gone really well! We've finally got our Christmas tree up (I will do a post on it, because it's the craziest tree ever), My friend Albany had a party (we spent four hours playing Singstar and dancing to S Club 7) and i have some new, this season, studded leather KURT GEIGER boots!!! (post coming up on that too!)

I have a question that has been on my mind- which decade would you have liked to live through and why? (I'm sorry, whaaat a cliche!) Personally, for me, it would be the 60's, when the world started to change.

Heeeello all, I haven't actually done a proper post in aaaaaages. I've been quite busy with school/choir/photography. We haven't actually had a sunny day since the beginning of the month, so all of my photos were taken on overcast days, which is quite frustrating, i have to say. I've been listening to Joni Mitchell, i usually do around this time of the year. Her lyrics sing to the heart, and just make you stop, and listen. I love her songs and her artwork, and I HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS HER! Coincidence? I think not...

My cat is the biggest judge of music. Honestly. She sits there, when we play something on the stereo, and if she likes it, she'll smile in a cat-ish way (anyone who has a cat will know what i mean by 'smile'). We have some big cardboard boxes by the back door, from parts for our new bathroom, and the other day I had a flash of inspiration... I cut a door in one of them, the suck it in front of the AGA (a kind of stove/cooker thing). LO and behold, my cat sat in it- and she hasn't really left it since. She's still sitting in it now... smiling...

It's my birthday! :) I'm looking forward to today and the rest of this winter. We've got lots lined up: On the 14th, my mum is taking me and two friends up to London to stay in our flat. Beyond Retro, here we come! And we're also going skiing after Christmas, I can't wait!!!

As it's my birthday, I think I should tell you all a bit more about myself.

I was born on the 7th on November, 1994 in Amsterdam. After roughly two years my family moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We lived there for another two years, before moving back to Holland, where we lived in a little village ten minutes away from Amsterdam, called Broek In Waterland. My brothers and I went to the local school, and presently learnt how to speak Dutch. I'm still fluent :)

In 2004 we moved to the UK, as both of my parents are British. I now live in a town not far from Bath and Bristol. I love theatre, music and art, and I sing in the Bath Abbey girls choir, rehearsing three times a week, which proves to be enjoyable but extremely strenuous! I'm in my first GCSE year, taking Art and Drama, but I'm always finding new passions and hobbies. I'm a very busy person, but I'm also extremely unorganised! This is partly one of the reasons why I don't post very often, but IT'S ALL GOING TO CHANGE this year :)

I've really enjoyed these first few months as a blogger, I always thought it would be something I would love to do, but would never have the time for, but I think that after a while it just sort of happens, and you start to think about blogging everywhere! :) I really want to thank everyone who's been following, or commenting! Without you, it would be a bit boring :P

One of the photos I entered into the Young Photographer Of The Year competition has been shortlisted! I was literally bouncing off the walls when i found out. I wouldn't say it's the strongesst of my photographs- but the judges are notorious for choosing photos that tend to be a bit different. I am beyond thrilled, but i think that this is pretty much as far as it will go, really, as there's some pretty stiff competition...

I don't know about you, but I've been really busy this month! I haven't really had time to do anything apart from study, and I'm sorry i haven't posted in a while! I'm working on a new look for the blog, and while it's underway I've put up a temporary title. I recently downloaded poladroid, and I've been hooked evr since. It doesn't look professional or anything, but i just love experimenting :)

Next month's my birthday, on the 7th. I'm hoping for a snazzy new camera, possibly a Canon 40D, but quite unlikely! I'm also saving up for a Diana F+. My friend had one, and I just love them! I've always been big on lomograpahy, so life will be sweeeeet. I've recently discovered a load of old photos, and I'm going to try and post them, because they bring back memories!
I joined twitter a few days ago. WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT??? I am utterly confused. Maybe it will come with time!

About a month a go I entered the "Young photographer of the year" competition. I doubt I'll win anything but here's a link anyways: Young Photographer Of The Year there's nothing new there, pretty much the same stuff as I posted here!

I'm going post some of my recent sketches soon. And I may just be a copy cat and do something similar to Roz of Clothes, Cameras and Coffee (sorry!) and do some 'inspired' ones. I'm kind of stuck for ideas of what will inspire me, but I'll think of something, hopefully!

Alice In Wonderland

A few weeks back, my friend Sian told me about some abandoned cars and greenhouses near where she lived. We had a look and suddenly i had an idea, so a few days ago we went back. The atmosphere was perfect. There are huge shards of glass left which could fall at any time, and glass was littered all over the place. There were massive badger sets EVERYWHERE, and of course- the millions of vines. The dress we hung up was constantly being blown in the wind, and there was a creepy eerie feel, as well as the obvious danger of being killed by falling glass :P

We managed to take some decent pictures though, my favourite one being the top one, because I caught the haunted expression in her eyes.

Mr Kane did it again. I love this collection, and these were my favourites. He is such a genius! I love the striped dress, i want it! I think he's probably one of my favourite designers, he's really clever with patterns and textures. Hopefully I may get a chance to see one of his shows sometime.

I've basically spent the last two days looking at the catwalk photos on elleuk.com. I'm not so impressed with Alexander McQueen this season, who usually is one of my favourites.

I loved Chloe, all the pieces were so effortless and super cool.

Luella has always been an inspiring designer to me too, this season there were loads of different ideas, and the came together so well, I really like her jacket/trouser/shirt combos, they look really funky!

Went to see the film "Coco Before Chanel" a few days ago, with my grandpa :) It was fantastic! Audrey Tautou is such a talented actress :) She was the star of Amelie, which is by far my favourite film, ever. I think that She really captures Chanel perfectly, and brings so much life into the character. I have loved everything to do with Chanel since I can't remember, and I think that the film really showed what inspired her most. Everything is done so well, too, from the scenery to the music. Go see it!

Mmm, finally, the weather is looking slightly more hopeful. Being English, I think I probably talk about the weather more than anything! Where we live, in the south east, it's really changeable. Some days it's like the rain will never stop and on others it feels like the south of france. I love the british summer. (When) It's warm, there's always a lovely breeze in the air. I love the outdoors, so picnics and strawberry picking are some of my favourite summer pastimes :)

We've been fooling around a little with my camera today. We took these earlier, and they were really easy to edit. I literally cannot wait till August. We're off to Wales for a ten-day surf experience near Whitesands. It's no California, I have to say :P My birthday's coming up in November, hoping for a new camera, still thinking about which one though. I like the Canon 400D, but I'm just going to keep looking. Any suggestions would be great :)

Been busy! These are photos of some friends. The top one is of Amelia, and the bottom is Hattie. I love taking photos outside, because of natural lighting and that. Amelia's look is so effortless! She could wear a bin liner and still look decent! I always get jealous :P Hattie has a really quirky style, and it shows :)

Today I was thinking. I need to be more active. Not just physically, but i also need to push myself more. I need be a go-er! I'm going to make a list soon. I'll teach myself to be more motivated.

The book in the picture is my new best buddy. I was given it as a birthday present last year. It's jam-packed with inspiration, and literally teaches you all about everything that's gone on in the industry since the turn of the 20th century. It's quite expensive, i think, but worth every penny.

At the moment I'm reading the classics- again. Jane Eyre and anything by Ms Austen are still my favourites, but I've read Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, and it's genius, really creepy and romantic all at the same time. If anyone has anything good in mind they could recommend, That would be great!

Some i did today, i got bored... :P They were inspired by a ring I was given as a present, from topshop. I love it. There is a simplicity about them, yet a lot of the shapes are quite intricate.

The Best Shop In Bath

Forget Topshop, forget H&M. This is literally a treasure trove for vintage and retro clothing. You have to spend at least an hour in there. They sell all kinds of quirky things too; My friend bought some fantastic world globe earrings from them. Everything is so unique! The prices are pretty decent too. They sell everything from 50's and 60's dresses, to 80's men's sports jackets. They also have a large range of really funky shoes, belts and bags. It's perfect! I'm going to make a stop there soon, sometime in the summer, so expect a very delighted me and a whole load of gorgeous vintage :)

It isn't anything special really, just some quick sketches. I love the fact that the colours are vastly contrasting. The pen i used on the lower one was running out of ink, so the writing is extremely scruffy! Please tell me what you think. I have thousands of others but these were some i did today. :)

Honestly the most delicious thing IN THE WORLD

I was feeling like i needed to make something, and i was hungry, so i decided to create a recipe...

It's basically heart attack on a plate :)

YOU WILL NEED:

about 5-7 mars bars

A large-ish bowl of rice crispies

3 packets of milk chocolate

2 packets of dark chocolate

desiccated coconut

1. Melt the mars bars in a microwave, untill you can mash them with a spoon then add the gloop to the rice crispies, stirring well, add some coconut to the mixture

2. Pour the mixture into a well-greased tray, then melt the milk and dark chocolate (seperately)

3. Fist pour on the milk chocolate, then the dark on top, then sprinkle with coconut and leave to cool in the fridge

4. slice into edible pieces

Try it! Apparently it's in the 'top ten' things my little brother has ever tasted, and trust me, he's tried many things :)

I took these of Amelia for her loobook. Goddammit i want her to realise she could easily be a model! The problem is that I'm the only one who's enthusiastic about it :P She's really modest and stuff, and honestly doesn't realise her potential! Might shove her in the car, take her up to London, and get her spotted, or something, that'll teach her for being so beautiful!

Second Bridge- Jungle Rave

On Tuesday, Amelia and I went to a club called 'Second Bridge' in Bath. They were doing an under 18's night. The theme was jungle, and there was real turf on the floor and everything :) The music was great. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we had to catch a train... Overall, it was a great night. (I didn't take the photos, they were taken by a photographer)

The French have landed

Good lord. My french exchange partner has arrived. I was over there a few months back and I really enjoyed it. But now she's over here... she's really shy. She says no to absolutely EVERYTHING! I'm definitely NOT doing the exchange next year. The picture is one i took around Christmas. I was playing around with paper and i decide to do that thing you were supposed to have done when you were little but never really did, and i made one of those people chainy things. I like this photo because even though they are really very delicate, they look pretty solid.

It started this winter. Sian and I were talking on the phone and i asked her what she was up to. She said she had an origami calender, and was having a go at making a few. I realised i had exactly the same box, so we decided to do some together. After many hours of trying I mastered a frog and a few flowers. It's quite hard to follow some of the instructions but once you've done them a few times you really start to get that hang of it. I found this picture of a woodlouse when i was looking around for some new instructions. It looks so realistic! I really want to give it a go, and it may just make me appreciate the little grey insects that i keep finding dead all over the bathroom floor. Our bathroom is a woodlouse graveyard.

PARIS

I took this under the eiffel tower, when we were on the french exchange. It's so amazing, even on the first level everyone looks like ants! I love paris, it has a something about it you just can't get anywhere else, a kind of uplifting feeling. After watching Amelie, I thought that it wouldn't be like that, but it is, Paris has a warm, romantic breeze in the air.

This is by far my favourite sweater. IT HAS LITTLE RED MEN ON IT!!! It's my mums, discovered at the back of her closet. I also love my new moccs, from New Look, 22 quid and worth it! I wear them all the time, they're perfect for slipping on and off and running about in.

I LOVE SNOW! A few months back we had our first proper snowfall in the entire time we've lived here. I took this photo of my friend Sian with her toboggan. We had two days off school and we really made the most of it! It was honestly magical. I hope it happens every year!
